Graham ~ Greenawalt Photos

I have a few photos of my great grandparents, William and Sadie Graham, and their family.

I also have a nice set of photos from their son, Calvin and Ruth Graham, and their family, including Ruth's Barr ~ Ellis Family.

We also have a nice collection of Sadie's Greenawalt family.

-- William was born to Samuel B. R. Culbertson and Mary Sophia Hildebrandt.

-- My great grandfather adopted his Graham name from his mother's 3rd husband, William Irwin Graham.

-- I do have photos of my great grandfather's adopted William Graham family, and his brother's family members on this web page.

-- I also have photos of Dellia Catherine Killinger's son Norman Graham, and his family.

-- My great grandfather did marry Dellia, and she did have a son, Norman. Norman was given the Graham name because he was suppose to be the son of my great grandfather.

However, through DNA analysis, he is not my great grandfather's son. Nor is he the son of any other Graham blood line.

Unless we know the date of the photo, we will estimate (c-circa) the date based on a number of factors; knowing a person and estimating their age in the photos, clothing styles, photographic techniques, etc.

William Sadie Graham Photos

William H. Graham was 1st married Dellia Catherine Killinger.

Before Dellia's divorce with William was finalized with William. he married Sarah (Sadie) Catherine Greenawalt on October 16th 1901.

-- Sadie also had a son, Earl Britton Hostetter, who was born in 1889. Britton, as he was known, would later take the Greenawalt name. He was William's step-son, and our grandfather's half brother.

William and Sadie had four children. Our grandfather Calvin would be the only child to survive childhood.

Abraham Greenawalt Family Photos

I believe Abraham Greenawalt is related to my Greenawalt family. I'm just not sure how far back the relationship is connected to a common Greenawalt ancestor.

There were at least two early 18th century Colonial Pennsylvania Greenawalt families that arrived prior to our Greenawalt patriarch, Johann Nicholas Greenawalt, who first arrived in 1771 Colonial Philadelphia.

Abraham Greenawalt and Johann Greenawalt, who both settle in early Lancaster County, Pennyslvania.

Here is a photo of Abraham's great-great grandson, Abraham Greenawalt and his wife Mary Ann. There is a slight resemblence to Henry Greenawalt. We're still researching if there is any relationship between these two men.
